Stuff, and a Nest

The last couple of days have been busy.  Sunday started out as a wood processing day but quickly turned into an ER trip when one of the guys had an unfortunate meeting with the saw chain. The gloves he was wearing saved his thumb and he walk away with a bunch of stitches and no major damage.
Yesterday I went to town to have a little WD-40 steroid injected in my hip.  And today was a trip to Roundup for some front end work on My Guy's dodge.  We left it and did the grocery store thing, had lunch and retrieved his truck.
I did get a couple of photos today.

The sunrise through the trees and the magpie nest.
The 'pies remodel every year.  It's getting to be quite a large nest.

Tree branches in the early sky.  I love the tangle.

This afternoon was cloudy -- again.

They are streaming in from the southwest.  We are looking for a change by early Sunday morning and this is just a hint of what might be coming.  Much colder the weather service says.

Tomorrow I intend to stay home and be more productive.  Maybe there will be a bit of sun.

    1. The magpies are my favorites. They're so FUNNY! I'll look for one of their "portraits" for tomorrow.

  2. STUNNING!!!

I'm a huge fan of magpies...almost better than a raven or crow.
